To help you fulfill your obligation to continue your professional growth and development.
The Office of Professional Development of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering exists to provide appropriate, effective and efficient ways and means
- “to facilitate the acquisition and interchange of professional knowledge among its members”
- “to promote the acquisition of that species of knowledge which has special reference to the profession of civil engineering”
- “to encourage investigation in connection with all branches and departments of knowledge connected with the profession”
“The CSCE has developed a program of professional development based on principles and a methodology that will contribute significantly to the continuing competence of professional engineers in Canada.”
Ralston MacDonnell, P. Eng.
President, MacDonnell Group Limited
“I firmly believe that continuous improvement, a big part of which is continuing education, is vitally important for professional people more so today than ever before. The civil engineering community in Canada can now take advantage of the breadth of services your CSCE Continuing Education Program will offer. Your program will go a long way towards providing our members (and new members) with an appropriate vehicle by which they can not only fulfill the ever-growing requirements for continuing education being mandated by the Provincial Associations, but also develop themselves as professionals in today’s society.”
P. Daniel Burns, M. Eng., P. Eng., FCSCE
Past President, Canadian Society for Civil Engineering
